The craft fairs keep coming! We’ve got another great weekend ahead of us that hopefully won’t be wasted at a mall. Nightmare Before the Nutcracker

Where: Vancity Theatre
What is it:  Watch the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic with the added bonus of the audience texting their running commentary, barbs, put downs and snark up there on the screen. (more info)

Where: Davie, Denman, and Robson Streets
What is it: local and international artist’s interpretation of light through interactive, colorful and magical installations on the streets and in parks. There will also be free trolley tours and horse-drawn carriage rides. (more info)

Vancouver Winter Wonderland

When: Friday, Dec 11 – Sunday, Dec 13
Where: PNE Forum (2901 E Hastings St)
What is it: Canada’s largest indoor Christmas Festival at the PNE Forum with a giant Christmas tree, entertainment, magic shows, arts and crafts, food vendors, and santa. (more info)

Got Craft? Holiday Craft Fair

When: Saturday, Dec 12 – Sunday, Dec 13
Where: The Pipe Shop Building (115 Victory Ship Way, North Van)
What is it: An indie craft fair that brings together a community that fosters handmade and a D.I.Y. (do-it-yourself) culture. There’s also lots of DIY workshops for some hands-on fun. (more info)

Santacon 2015 / Santarchy

When: Saturday, Dec 12 at noon
Where: Shenanigans on Robson
What is it: People get dressed up as Santa, get nice and drunk, and run around Vancouver causing mayhem. It’s awesome. (more info)
