  • Canada Day at Canada Place – The biggest Canada Day celebration in Western Canada with live music, food trucks, interactive displays, and many other things to do. Capped off with a fireworks show at 10:30pm.
  • Canada Day on Granville Island – Fun for the whole family with an artisan market, DIY T-shirt and button-making workshops, a musical-instrument playground, and much more.
  • Salmon Festival in Steveston – A huge bbq with a salmon feast, a parade, pancake breakfast, a street hockey tournament and even a fireworks finale!
  • Canada Day Drumming Circle – People of all ages are invited to participate or serve as spectators in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for “Most Nationalities in a Drum Circle”. You can also enjoy a kid’s area, food trucks, and more.
  • North Vancouver Canada Day – A zero-waste Canada Day celebration with musical performances, dancing, balloon artists, and a climbing wall. There will also be tons of food options.
  • Canada Day Decentralized Dance Party – A flash mob–like evening that sees hundreds of costumed revellers grooving together at Jack Poole Plaza where attendees can sync their radio-compatible boomboxes to a DJ’s master broadcast.
  • Cannabis Day – Fresh off the announcement that marijuana will soon be legal in Canada, this event will likely be bigger than ever before. A 420-friendly festival with smoking, sampling, and general tomfoolery.
  • Canada Day on Robson – Taking place on an eight-block stretch of Robson Street, the event will feature performances from local musicians like Michael Meroniuk and Dueling Pianos, food trucks, a street hockey tournament, and more.
