  • The Lust Jedi: A Sci-Fi Burlesque Adventure – Featuring a cast of 29 of Geekenders all-star nerdlesque performers, the event and theatre troupe is pulling out all the stops to ensure a memorable, sexy, nerd-herding night for geeks of all types.
  • Free Comic Book Day – Free Comic Book Day is a single day – the first Saturday in May each year – when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE
  • VidLaser Gorillaz, Dark Side, and Radiohead – Trippy laser show at BCIT planetarium.

  • Burlesque Long Form – In an artistic challenge set by producer and noted performer April O’Peel, local luminaries will have one chance to perform a full ten minute act.

  • Science World After Dark: Science Slam! –  Experience Science World without the kids. As usual, there will be science and terrific entertainment at this 19+ event.
  • Story Story Lie: Last Chance – Six comedians share strange, embarrassing, unbelievable stories that are totally true! No exaggerations! Except one of these charming contestants is a liar!
  • Crowville Cabaret – A new monthly cabaret show featuring stand up comedy, dance, improv, live music, and whatever other insanity we can come up with!
  • National Caesar Day – More than 300 bars and restaurants across Canada will be joining the festivities, which falls every year on the Thursday before the May long weekend. It’s the “unofficially official” kick-off to patio season! Think St. Patrick’s Day for Caesar lovers.

  • ROVE – A Mount Pleasant Art Walk – ROVE is a free community event on Friday, May 25th that participants can tour artist’s studios and galleries in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood of Vancouver from 6pm until 10pm!

  • Graham Clark’s Quiz Show – A monthly comedy show where Canadian favourite Graham Clark cherry picks the best segments of game shows, plus a few new favourites, and presents them all in one bizarre event!
  • Richmond Night Market – The biggest night market in Richmond with hundreds of food and merchandise booths, giant dinosaurs, and lots more surprises.
  • Senseless 2: A Night of Sensory Deprived Standup Comedy – Senseless brings around the city’s most accomplished standups and asks them to do their sets while blindfolded and listening to noise-canceling headphones. They can’t see or hear the audience. It’s the most liable show in the city and you won’t find it anywhere other than Little Mountain Gallery.
