Break out the Lederhosen and start practicing your German because Oktoberfest in Vancouver is starting soon! There are two major Oktoberfest events in Vancouver that give you the chance to experience the infamous German party without having to endure the price of a plane ticket.
Tickets are now on sale for both events so grab a few before they sell out (and they will sell out)!
Harvest Haus 2017
Harvest Haus is an immersive food and drink festival based around the European festivals of old. This year, the Haus has expanded to the empty lot near Rogers Arena to transform into a mini-Munich for two weeks of traditional bavarian splendor and copious amounts of liquid gold bier. Tickets are on sale now, so pick up a pair before they sell out!
The expanded event will feature seven dinner sittings and a lineup of events that include axe throwing contests, Stein Games (beer sports competitions), a Lippensynchron Battle (i.e. lip-synching), and lots more surprises.
Dates: October 5, 6, 7, 13, 14
Location: 88 Pacific Boulevard, Vancouver, BC
Tickets: $25 (general admission), $40 (VIP)
Age limit: 19+
Oktoberfest at The Alpen Club

Enjoy German food, German Bier (beer, in case you didn’t get that), and get the chance to dance to live music and a DJ. Other festivities in the past have included “how long can you hold this pitcher of beer”, costume contests, sausage, Jagermeister girls, and more.
Location: The Alpen Club (4875 Victoria Drive, Vancouver)
Dates: Oct 6 & 7, Oct 13 & 14, Oct 20 & 21
Price of tickets: Tickets are $35 (or $75 for VIP)
