Army & Navy Legendary Shoe Sale

What is it: With designer brands too famous to mention, the Army & Navy buying team have curated a stunning collection for the upcoming Legendary Shoe Sale. Everything is name brand and it’s all under $60. (more info)

Critical Mass Vancouver

When: Friday, April 28 at 6pm
Where: Meet at the VAG
What is it: Yes, it’s time of the year again! Meet at the Vancouver Art Gallery at 6pm to join other bikers on a ride around town in “the most annoying event in Vancouver” according to some. It’s always an experience, especially if the weather is good. (more info)

Radiohead / Dark Side of the Moon Laser Shows

Where: BCIT Planetarium 3700 Willingdon Avenue
What is it: A weekly laser show featuring the highlights and constellations over Vancouver’s night sky with the soundtrack of your favourite songs from RadioHead and Pink Floyd (more info)

What is it: Music, lights, and paths through a forest! Celebrate the end of exams by riding bikes through campus and into the forest as one massive body of students, faculty, and friends! (more info)

VPD Recovered Goods Auction

Where: Burnaby Mountain (SFU campus)
What is it: Remember that episode of The Simpsons where Homer buys Snake’s old car? This is like that, but with less mayhem. Most people go for the bikes. Just a tip: don’t overbid, some of these bikes are junkers. (more info)

BC Cider Festival

When: Saturday, April 29 from 2-6pm
Where: Heritage Hall, Main Street
What is it: BCCF is a tasting event, and attendees will be able to sample ciders from each of the producers over the course of the four hours; you won’t need to worry about tokens. (more info)

2017 Fall for Local Spring Market

Where: Pipe Shop (115 Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver)

VanDusen Plant Sale

Where: VanDusen Botanical Gardens
What is it: People line up with their wheelbarrows hours before the gate opens for this popular event. Over 10,000 eager gardeners are expected to attend to pick up botanical treasures. (more info)
