The 33rd edition of Festival du Bois returns live to Mackin Park in Coquitlam for a weekend of brilliant folk, roots, global and Québécois music from French Canada and beyond from April 1-3.

Le Centre culturel francophone de Vancouver had the pleasure of presenting the Juno award winner from Haiti/Montreal, Wesli and his 7-piece band, for an uplifiting Afro-Haitian dance party! Bringing together a wide range of Montreal talents, Wesli’s music unites Haitian voodoo and rara styles with roots, Afrobeat and hip-hop styles. Wesli’s musical journey has gone from stringing up an oil can with nylon fishing string to winning a Juno for World Music Album of the Year (Rapadou Kreyol, 2019). His 7th album, “Tradisyon”, will be released on May 13, 2022 in partnership with the famous American label Cumbancha.
