Sometimes a pint glass just isn’t big enough to satisfy your cravings for an alcoholic beverage. Luckily, Vancouver has quite a few restaurants that cater to those who are looking for something a bit bigger to quench their thirst… If you’re in the mood for a drink built for two (or three), look no further than some of the restaurants below:
Drink Bowls at the Shameful Tiki Room
Who doesn’t love a tiki-themed bar!? This dark location is typically packed full of locals and tourists alike hoping to get their drink on. If you want to go for a big drink – you’ll have to order a Tiki Drink Bowl. We recommend the mystery bowl, which comes out to your table to much fanfare, heralded by a large gong. You won’t forget that experience! Or… you might, depending on how many mystery bowls you can consume…

Flower Pots at the Afghan Horsemen
We’ve written about the Afghan Horsemen’s large drinks before, so this one is no surprise addition to the list. Who knew that drinking out of a flower pot would be so much fun! Couple that with the great share plates that you can order, and you’ve got one fine night out. Bonus points if you wander around Granville Island after consuming multiple flower pots and buy some piece of weird art.
